Market District: Community to Ballpark
Our mission is to redefine the Gateway District by giving it a distinguishable identity visible to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, directing users to the lifeless space between Jacob’s Field and the Quicken Loans Arena, currently known as the Gateway Plaza. Dating back to the 1940’s, where Jacob’s Field and the Quicken Loans Arena currently reside, the Central Market was the center of the city where locals went to meet and shop. It is our challenge to give rebirth to this historical landmark by creating a modern market environment, attracting and engaging people of all ages.
